A growing financial services company based in central Manchester seeks a dedicated Case Handler to join their Sales Support / Case Management Operations team. This role supports specialist underwriters and ensures the smooth progression of loans from initiation to completion. This position offers a pathway to various career opportunities within the company.
Experience required:
- Ideally, you will have previous experience either within an underwriting team or as a case manager in a financial services environment
- We will also consider individuals that have customer service or administrative experience with a Bank or in Financial Services
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage a process from cradle to grave is essential.
- Issuing Loan Terms:
- Draft and issue loan terms accurately and promptly.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Searches and Due Diligence:
- Conduct credit and background checks on borrowers.
- Perform land registry and fraud searches.
- Documentation:
- Compile necessary documentation for underwriters.
- Ensure all documents are complete and accurate.
- Communication:
- Liaise with solicitors and brokers to gather required information.
- Maintain regular communication with all stakeholders.
- Drawdown Process:
- Collect and verify borrower information for payments.
- Assess reports from quantity surveyors.
- Experience:
- Previous experience in financial services or loan processing preferred.
- Understanding of loan products is advantageous.
- Skills:
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in due diligence checks.
- High attention to detail.
